We went global...and so should you!
SG Worldwide was started by Alex Zablocki while attending Baruch College in
Manhattan in 2001.
SG Worldwide was formerly Save Greenbacks - or Save Money. It was later
changed to SG Worldwide in 2004. (officially filed in Richmond County, NY
State as "Alex Zablocki d/b/a SG Worldwide")
As of 2008, SG Worldwide has shipped over 15,000 packages worldwide! As the
dollar has fallen, SG has seen an increase in international sales.
SG Worldwide's main business is the sale of new and used books, DVD's,
videos, CD's and electronic equipment. SG also buildings small business,
political and non-profit websites. Our main store is on Amazon.com.
SG Worldwide carries about 300 items in inventory every week and is
constantly acquiring new merchandise. At its peak, SG had over 3,000 items
in inventory.
SG is committed to being a 'green' business, using a hybrid vehicle, reducing
waste and shipping with recycled material and reselling items that normally
would find their way to a landfill. SG also supports many non-profit
organizations throughout New York City and central and northern New Jersey, such
as the Salvation Army and Goodwill Industries.
